Twirling Tots

We're excited to bring our new dance session classes to the community!

Twirling Tots introduces foundational dance concepts through the use of imaginative movement activities, multi sensory props, action songs and more! Our young dancers will discover creative movement and ballet basics while we honor their self expression, build their skill sets and nurture their self confidence! Dancers and their caregivers will bond together in this exciting and educational Baby Steps Dance session!

Role Of The Caregiver:

At Baby Steps Dance Asheville caregivers play a very important role in our programs! They are the safe space for their child in a new class setting with new faces and friends. Caregivers are also movement models for their little ones who help encourage and support their engagement, creativity and self expression!

Twirling Tots promotes early childhood learning through:

Emotional and social learning with our strategic lesson plans
Repetitive motor skill, coordination and Brain Dance practices
Cooperative group activities and self esteem building exercises
Language development through basic dance terminology, foundational concepts and expressive communication
Supports healthy attachment between the child and their caregiver by participating in class together

Session Details:

Ages 3-4 years with a caregiver
6 week session program
45 minute classes
Cost: $72 per child (sibling discount of 10%)
Prorated tuition available for mid session registration based on availability

Class Attire:

Dance leotards OR fitted tshirt/long sleeve shirt
Dance tights OR fitted leggings/athletic pants
Ballet shoes OR barefoot
Dance skirts and tutus are always welcome!
Caregivers should wear clothing that you can move around in comfortably.

Twirling Tots is a 6 week session program. Please register for the class day of your choice, space is limited. Session programs need a minimum of 5 students registered in order to to run.
